GSDWA Members: our summer’s end dock diving event is coming up!

Valley Center Dog Dock
We will be running two dogs per half-hour session; cost will be $25 per dog. All levels and ages of whippets are welcome; experienced dogs will be jumping from the big dock, which is 2’ above the surface of the pool. Dogs who are learning will jump or wade in from a nice big ramp into the pool. If your dog is just learning and/or learning to swim, you may have to get into the pool to encourage them, so dress appropriately and wear a nice big hat. An instructor from Valley Center Dog Dock will be there to guide you if needed. Bring lots of towels and sunscreen too! We will have lunch and drinks, but feel free to bring snacks to share!
Valley Center Dog Dock is located right around the corner from Bate’s Nut Farm on Lake Wohlford Road. There is a fair amount of shade and three shady “exercise” pens for you to use when needed. Please do not potty your dog elsewhere.
Payment needs to be made asap to hold your spot. Please remit via paypal to our club treasurer: JohnZolezzi@JohnZolezzi . After you submit payment, please send Christine an email ( CDStablesinc@aol.com ) to confirm you are coming; and which time (s) you prefer. Include your dog’s name(s), swimming skills (if any LOL), toy play skills (does your dog like toys? Will he/she retrieve a toy?) and anything you’d like us to know or any questions you may have. We will have a variety of life jackets and some floating toys.
